The short version: Hush Trap collects nothing. It has no account, no server, no adverts, no analytics and no tracking, and it never connects to the internet.
The game remembers a few things, in its own private storage on your iPhone: your best score, your daily challenge scores and streak, your chosen world and plant look, and whether sound, haptics and Gentle mode are on. Nothing else is saved. Uninstalling the game deletes them.
If your iPhone backs itself up to iCloud, those settings are included the same way every app's data is. That copy lives in your Apple account; we have no access to it.
On iPhone Duo the game reads the angle of the hinge, and on other iPhones a two-finger pinch, to know when the trap closes. Those readings are used in the moment and thrown away. They are never stored and never leave your phone.
The game asks for no permissions. It does not use your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone or any other personal data.
That is why the game's App Store privacy label reads “Data Not Collected”.
One thing can be bought: The Full Garden, a one-time purchase that adds the night swamp, three plant looks and Zen mode. It is handled entirely by Apple’s App Store. We never see your name, card or address; the App Store only tells the game, on your device, whether the purchase was made.
Refunds are handled by Apple under its terms. Family Sharing and Restore Purchase work through your Apple account, not through anything of ours.
Hush Trap is rated 4+. Because it collects nothing from anyone, it collects nothing from children. It has no chat, no user-generated content and no way for players to contact each other.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and the change ships with the version it describes rather than ahead of it.
