The short version:
Tap Tray has no sign-in, no profile, no leaderboard and no chat. There is nothing to log in to. We operate no server that the game talks to, so there is no place where a record of you could exist even if we wanted one.
The game asks for no permissions beyond the ability to vibrate. It does not read your location, contacts, photos, files, microphone or camera, because it never asks the operating system for any of them.
Your level, coins, lives and boosters live in a single file in the game's own private storage on your device. Nothing else on your phone can read it, and it is deleted when you uninstall.
If you have iPhone or Android backups turned on, that file is included in the backup, the same way every app's data is. The copy lives in your Apple or Google account under their terms. We have no access to it and no way to ask for it.
The free game shows an advert between levels — not before level 8, never during play, and never twice in quick succession. Separately, there are places where you may choose to watch a video for a reward: to carry on after the tray fills, for an extra life, or for a free booster. Those are always your choice; declining costs you nothing but the reward.
Both kinds are served by Google AdMob, and Google collects data in order to serve and measure them: device and advertising identifiers, IP address, coarse location derived from it, and how you interacted with the advert.
That is genuinely a separate system from the game. Nothing an advert network knows reaches the board you play on, and the level generator has no field for any of it. But it collects, and saying otherwise would be untrue.
What "Remove Ads" actually removes. It stops the adverts between levels for good, on every device signed in to the same App Store or Google Play account. The reward videos you choose to watch still work, because they are yours to start — we would rather say this plainly here than have you find out afterwards.
Five things can be bought: Remove Ads, three coin packs, and a one-time Starter Pack. All of them are handled entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play. We never see your card, your name or your address — the store tells the game only whether something was bought.
Refunds are handled by whichever store you bought from, under their terms.
Nothing. Tap Tray has no analytics service. The code that could report events exists in the project but is compiled out of the app you install, so there is no identifier, no event list and no destination — not a switch that is off, an absence.
This is unusual enough to be worth stating plainly, because most free games do measure themselves and this policy would ordinarily have a paragraph listing what they send. If that ever changes, this section changes with it before the build ships, and the date at the top will move.
Tap Tray is not directed at children and is not listed in either store's children's category. It has no chat, no user-generated content and no way for players to contact one another.
We do not knowingly collect anything from a child. If you believe a child's data has somehow reached us, write to the address below and we will look into it — though in practice there is no store of data for it to be in.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and the change ships with the build it describes rather than ahead of it.
